For every band, most show days are also filled with doing promotion, and Stone Sour are no exception. Before their Manchester show in February this year, James Root spent some time with Fuse FM… and Fuse have kindly now posted up an MP3 of their interview online. Lasting about 11 minutes, you can download the MP3 from their site HERE.
Did you read our little piece with Roy, posted earlier today? Yes? Good. Marcelo’s turn. RR: If you could live in any city in the world, where would you live and why? Marcelo: “Amsterdam, because of the coffee shops!” RR: Who do you think are the best bands to emerge since the turn of the century? Marcelo: !”System Of A Down.” RR: How do you feel Soulfly has developed over the years? Marcelo: “Got matured. Got heavier. Got mad…” RR: Out of all your years with Soulfly, are there any particular memories or shows that stand out, for one reason or another? What, and why? Marcelo: “Astoria – London. Always great vibes, great crowds, just great.” Speaking of the London Astoria… stopped by the Soulfly PHOTO GALLERY this evening? We’ve just posted up a bundle of live photos of the guys from their show at the London Astoria on Wednesday night. Check ’em out. The photo adorning this news page over on the left came from the very same night. Note the gas mask and bullets hanging from the mike stand – a stark reminder of all that’s currently taking place in Iraq.

DIVINE HERESY kicked off a month-long North American trek alongside CHIMAIRA, KATAKLYSM and TERROR on Wednesday, November 14. It marks their second tour in support of their highly acclaimed debut album “Bleed The Fifth”. The group recently annihilated crowds and garnered new legions of diehard fans on the “Operation: Annihilation” tour with STATIC-X, SHADOWS FALL and 3 INCHES OF BLOOD. Look for the band on tour in the U.S. throughout the majority of 2008.
Guitarist Dino Cazares comments: “Our first tour was killer, and it's been exciting to see the band grow. The shows have been amazing, and it's been great to meet so many fans every night. We want to keep meeting everyone, so come to the shows early to see our set, and then come hang out with us at the merch booth.”
