Best known for her role as front woman and keyboardist for internationally acclaimed Boston-based punk-cabaret band The Dresden Dolls, AMANDA PALMER is set to release her debut solo record Who Killed Amanda Palmer on September 15th 2008.

In anticipation of this Ben Folds produced album release, Amanda Palmer will be returning to the UK in August, to perform a solo show in the intimate environs of the ICA in London on August 21st. She will then embark on a European tour and return to our shores for a full UK tour at the end of September. Full dates are below:,/p>

Castles in Cardiff were obviously not quite fulfilling the LAMB OF GOD posse’s appetite for UK history when the guys were over here last on tour, as this, the latest instalment of ‘deleted scenes’ from their current DVD release WALK WITH ME IN HELL shows. Here we see the guys checking out what is claimed to be the ‘oldest bar in the UK’ whilst in Nottingham. I don’t think the lads were entirely convinced…

AMANDA PALMER has kicked off a series of videos to be released in the run-up to the release of her solo album WHO KILLED AMANDA PALMER with ‘WHO KILLED AMANDA PALMER PART 1- ASTRONAUT’.

The videos, each of which will feature a track from the upcoming release, will premier initially on her OFFICIAL YOUTUBE PAGE.
