A couple of months back, ROCK SOUND MAGAZINE ran a competition for people to win KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES playing a gig in their house!!!

This past weekend (December 13th, to be precise), KIGH left their native Wales and drove in a van with all their gear to the home of Bianca Sarafian, and set up in her living room and played a show for all of her friends. Phil (drums) even put down his sticks for the track ‘Saturday’ and let Bianca’s brother have a go.

When in the UK on tour recently, SLIPKNOT’S Corey Taylor and MACHINE HEAD’S Robb Flynn took over an hour of Bruce Dickinson’s BBC 6 MUSIC ROCK SHOW, and you can hear their witty banter and killer tunes TOMORROW NIGHT (19th December).

When TRIVIUM announced they would end their euro tour with an intimate show in London at the 250 capacity Borderline, tickets sold out in a day. It’s been a few years since the guys had played such an intimate show and any Trivium fan who could get there was dying to get in- and those who did were not disapointed!

The show, a relaxed yet BLISTERING set was interspersed with light hearted banter and cover versions, and the vibe was so good that the band opened the invite to the ‘industry’ party post show to the whole crowd, and led the festivites with a metal karaoke session, with Trivium as the house band and media and the audience providing some back up on vocals and instruments. Kudos goes to the guys at METAL HAMMERA, SCUZZ TV and FHM amongst others, who got up on stage and kicked some serious ass!!!
