SKULLSNBONES recently sat down with HATEBREED main-man Jamey Jasta whilst they were out on the road in the USA for a bit of a chat and you can check out the video interview below.

In the interview, Jamey talks about the falls in CD sales in the industry and his appreciaton for the fans who still go out and pick up CD’s, his fave tracks on the new album HATEBREED (in stores now) and the other things he is working on. From the first exposure to demos, to meeting the guys for the first time, seeing them live for the first time, hearing the first mixes of ‘Slipknot’, being in the studio with the guys through to having the finished album in his hands and watching the label tak it to the public- it’s all been laid bare in the previous 5 installments.

In this final part, Monte fills us in on his bonding with Joey Jordison over his Roadrunner legacy and the 10th Anniversary Edition of the album which was released earlier this year- what’s on there, what isn’t and why it’s a worthwhile re-issue.

Southern rock icons LYNYRD SKYNYRD have announced a UK run for next March. Tickets are on sale now.

The resurgent seven-piece released their Roadrunner/Loud & Proud debut, ‘God & Guns’, to critical acclaim on 28th September. Backed with strong radio support and great reviews in the UK, the album’s first week sale was a colossal 997% up on the previous album’s first week figure! Lynyrd Skynyrd are definitely back with a vengeance!

‘God & Guns’ was recorded in Nashville in late 2008 and early ‘09, with the project being interrupted – but, tellingly, not ended – by the deaths of founding member/keyboardist Billy Powell and longtime bassist Ean Evans earlier this year. Yet, the band rock on and are bringing their uniquely American sound to these shores in March. Dates rack up as follows:
