GRAND MAGUS are not a band who do things by halves, as you’ll find out when they unleash their monstrous new album ‘Hammer of the North’ on June 21.

When it came time to arrange a new photo shoot, clearly a normal studio wasn’t up to the job – instead, the Swedish trio packed up their meanest facial expressions and trudged majestically out into the snow of the stunning Stockholm archipelago, with their wolf (hey, we did say they don’t do things by halves), posing in the freezing temperatures for some great shots.

STUDIO BLOG #4

Hello Ghoulscouts, Joey and Wednesday here with a weekend update. We spent the weekend busting our ass working away in the studio, and we are halfway through rhythm guitars and bass now. We should have all those tracks wrapped up in the next two days.

We are working on getting a few special guests to appear on the album as well that are gonna blow you guys all away. Stay tuned here for more on that. Also be on the lookout for some new interviews and lots of things coming your way. We are just getting started fuckers… Beware!!! WOMEN AND CHILDREN LAST!!!!

Joey and Wednesday

Somehow finding time in the hectic recording schedule for their forthcoming album, Joey and Wednesday of returning heroes MURDERDOLLS have sent us two more instalments from their studio diaries…

STUDIO BLOG #2

We began tracking guitars and bass yesterday and this fucker sounds monstrous. We’ve also included some new pics from our late Friday night studio adventures (view those here). Once we are done with guitars and bass it’s on to the fun stuff; vocals and adding the sweet sauce and spices! It’s much like the Col. Sanders secret recipe, we can’t tell you what it is, but it’s finger-licking good.

We’re very pleased to bring you a studio update from the mighty STONE SOUR, in which the band show us the unique studio in which they’re creating their third album.

The band are currently holed up in a Nashville house that is so big, frontman Corey Taylor admits he ‘got lost for the first three days’ he was there!

The wait is over! KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES finally drop new album ‘Dirt’ today, the follow-up to 2008’s ‘Smart Casual’.
