Just two years ago, Trivium made a stunning impact with SILENCE IN THE SNOW, arriving at #3 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart and #19 on the overall Billboard 200 marking Trivium’s third consecutive US Top 20 debut, and fifth consecutive UK Top 20 debut. Hailed by Alternative Press as the “the purest metal of the year,” SILENCE IN THE SNOW featured the Top 10 Rock Radio hit “Until The World Goes Cold” and stands as a long gestating creative milestone for the acclaimed band.

Trivium catapulted into the first ranks of modern metal with 2004’s Roadrunner debut, ASCENDANCY, which was named “Album of the Year” by Kerrang! 2006’s THE CRUSADE incorporated new melodic colours into the band’s sound, resulting in a top 25 Billboard 200 debut and rocketing the band into the UK main album chart at #7 .SHOGUN followed two years later and received even greater global acclaim and chart success, including a #1 debut on the UK’s Rock Albums Chart. IN WAVES hit #1 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” upon its 2011 release, not to mention a stunning top 15 debut on the overall Billboard 200 and 2013’s VENGEANCE FALLS arrived at #2 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart while making Top 10 debuts in Australia, Germany, and more, representing some of band’s highest international chart debuts to date. The band have graced more than 35 magazine front covers in the UK alone.

Slipknot ‘Day Of The Gusano’ in cinemas for 1 night only!

Posted on July 25, 2017

On 6th September, SLIPKNOT’s documentary film, ‘Day of the Gusano’ lands as a ‘one night only’ event in over 1000 cinemas globally, including over 100 in the UK. Tickets for the one off screening are on sale now over at dayofthegusano.com.

Directed by SLIPKNOT’s own M.Shawn Crahan, aka ‘Clown’, ‘Day of The Gusano’ documents the Iowa band’s first ever visit to Mexico City in December 2015 and features exclusive interviews and behind the scenes footage of SLIPKNOT’s members talking about the band’s long awaited first ever show there and the importance of their fanbase, fondly known as ‘maggots’ (‘gusano’ is the Spanish translation). The movie also chronicles the rabid devotion of their Mexican ‘gusano’ and details personal, emotive stories from some of their fans, all interspersed with footage from SLIPKNOT’s incendiary live show at the inaugural KNOTFEST Mexico. The film features colossal surround sound, so you’ll not only witness the show, but you’ll ‘feel’ it as if you were actually there.

Talking about the movie, Clown tells us, “SLIPKNOT still has dreams for itself. Finally playing Mexico was one of them. It’s been a surreal life of rock and roll for SLIPKNOT and the fact that the dreams still go on for us is simply incredible. Thank you.” Guitarist Jim Root continues, “We had such a great time at KNOTFEST Mexico… Not only with all the friends and bands that were there, but with the fans and the crowd we had to document it with. Now we get to share it with the world.”

KNOTFEST is SLIPKNOT’s own self-curated, destination festival brand, currently held in three international locations; the US, Japan and Mexico. Designed as an immersive, unforgettable, ‘dark carnival experience’, the event invites you into SLIPKNOT’s apocalyptic underworld where stunning visuals, firebreathers and nightmarish creatures on stilts set the stage for an intoxicating and memorable weekend of live music. KNOTFEST’s plans for 2017 are detailed over at ozzfestmeetsknotfest.com(US) and knotfestmexico.com (Mexico).

Milk Teeth reveal brand new song and video for Prism!

Posted on July 17, 2017

Everything is falling into place for MILK TEETH ahead of the July 28th release of their new EP and Roadrunner Records UK debut ‘Be Nice’. Their latest track ‘Prism’ was picked as Daniel P. Carter’s Rockest Record at Radio 1, and it’s the second EP track to receive that accolade after ‘Owning Your Okayness’ earlier this summer.

Now MILK TEETH further build anticipation for the EP by sharing the video for ‘Prism’. Combining unsettling and colourful imagery with an energised performance, the video neatly complements the track’s punchy mix of attitude, melody and aggression.

‘Prism’ is the third track to preview ‘Be Nice’ after the grunge meets power-pop slacker anthem ‘Owning Your Okayness’ and an acoustic performance of ‘Hibernate’ which demonstrated that compelling songwriting always underpins MILK TEETH’s material, and that vocalist Becky Blomfield is equally as adept at delivering tender emotions as she is a full-throated roar.

Produced by Neil Kennedy (Creeper, Boston Manor), ‘Be Nice’ is now available to pre-order at milkteethpunx.com. In addition, a brand new t-shirt design is available to buy exclusively as a bundle with the 12” vinyl throughout the EP’s pre-order run.

MILK TEETH’s recent UK shows have included their debut performances at the Slam Dunk Festival, which saw Team Rock, Upset and NME all pick them as a highlight of the weekend, and at 2000 Trees. Their summer continues with a UK headline tour and select festival dates, tickets available now.
