Motionless In White share Necessary Evil video!

Posted on October 16, 2017

Motionless In White have shared their official music video for “Necessary Evil,” which is directed by Max Moore (Code Orange, Of Mice & Men) and streaming now on the band’s official YouTube channel. “Necessary Evil” – which ships to Active Rock radio outlets nationwide today – is featured on the band’s new album GRAVEYARD SHIFT, which arrived earlier this year at #1 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart marking Motionless In White’s second consecutive #1 on the chart.

Tomorrow Motionless In White will kick-off their U.S. headline GRAVEYARD SHIFT TOUR with a performance at Las Vegas, Nevada’s Brooklyn Bowl. The coast-to-coast trek will see Motionless In White traversing the U.S. through the end of October where they will wrap up the run with a very special Halloween performance at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s Electric Factory. Motionless In White will be joined by Roadrunner label mates The Amity Affliction, Miss May I and William Control on the upcoming tour.

Touted as one of the “Most Anticipated” heavy albums of 2017, Alternative Press exclaimed, “MIW make sure to leave no gravestone unturned as they explore the vast underworld of rock,” on GRAVEYARD SHIFT, while Rock Sound declared, “Every cut brings something new to the table… tugging at the heartstrings one moment and cutting straight to the bone the next.” Kerrang! declared, “Motionless In White are out to prove themselves the kings of goth-punk and their leader, Chris Motionless, is ready to march them into the black.” GRAVEYARD SHIFT features the Top 20 Active Rock hit, “LOUD (F*ck It)” and the thunderous single “Eternally Yours.”

GRAVEYARD SHIFT follows 2014’s chart-topping REINCARNATE, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Top Rock Albums” chart as well as at #9 on the overall SoundScan/Billboard 200. Motionless In White’s third studio album was highlighted by the blockbuster title track, a top 20 Active Rock radio favorite accompanied by a striking companion video now boasting nearly 14 million individual views at YouTube alone.

Founded in 2005, Motionless In White has won over audiences worldwide with their aggressive music and arresting imagery. The band – currently comprising lead singer Chris Motionless, guitarists Ryan Sitkowski and Ricky Horror, bassist Devin “Ghost” Sola, and drummer Vinny Mauro – have proven a ferocious and inventive live act, earning an increasingly fervent fan following via countless headline shows, festival sets, and tours alongside such iconic acts as Slipknot, Korn, and Breaking Benjamin.

Code Orange unleash The Mud!

Posted on October 16, 2017

Code Orange have shared their official music video for industrial-tinged monster “The Mud,” which debuted in the USA during Adult Swim’s Toonami. The animated video, which was directed by Dmitry Zakharov and Code Orange’s Shade, is streaming now on the band’s YouTube Channel and on Adult Swim’s website. Earlier this year Code Orange was announced for Adult Swim’s 2017 Singles Series, which features 52 new tracks from a variety of artists over the course of 52 weeks.

Recorded with producers Will Yip at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA and Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studios in Salem, MA, the album FOREVER debuted earlier this year immediately staking its claim as one of 2017’s top releases and placing Code Orange firmly at the front of the pack. The Independent stated, “One of the early 21st century’s leading innovators in heavy music.” “Code Orange are winning over new fans in record time. Give them a chance and you’ll soon be theirs,” commented Upset, adding “Code Orange are nothing short of spectacular.” Having already called it, “The most important heavy release of 2017, ” Metal Hammer elaborated, “Forever isn’t just a great hardcore record – it’s one that’s ripped up the blueprint and pieced it back together in the most outrageously breathtaking way. This is a stone cold modern classic.” Shortlist agreed, calling it “life-affirmingly exhilarating,” with Terrorizer declaring it, “A confrontational, wilfully challenging, and obsessively interesting release.” Kerrang! said, “Hardcore’s most exciting band, drop the fiercest, most original noise of 2017.”

Not just beloved in the UK, in the US media Rolling Stone included FOREVER as one of the 50 Best Albums of 2017 So Far and selected Code Orange as one of 10 New Artists You Need to Know: February 2017 exclaiming, “FOREVER captures some of the most punishing noise the band has recorded to date, featuring songs rife with sudden transitions to still-harsher textures.” The Fader featured Code Orange as one of their 13 Artists You Need To Know About In 2017, while Nerdist declared, “Code Orange is back and heavier than ever,” adding, “These kids were heavy before, but they just increased density by a hundred percent and then crushed all livings under their weight.” NPR praised Code Orange’s FOREVER, asserting that it, “…is among its most bruising works, with surprises throughout,” while Pitchfork asserted, “the heavy rock mainstream could use a good razing, and Code Orange are well-equipped for the demolition job.”

Marmozets announce new album and release ‘Habits’ music video!

Posted on October 11, 2017

It’s been three years since MARMOZETS first broke through with their debut album, but the reaction to the first track to be taken from their second album, ‘Play’ feels as if they’d never been away. ‘Play’ was premiered as Daniel P Carter’s Rockest Record and then received the almost unheard of accolade of also being chosen as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record too. And the attention kept on coming: Scott Mills and Annie Mac both named ‘Play’ as their Tune of the Week before it was subsequently playlisted at Radio 1 – a timely reminder of just how brilliant MARMOZETS are.

Now MARMOZETS add to their growing momentum with the news that their long-awaited second album ‘KNOWING WHAT YOU KNOW NOW’ will be released on JANUARY 26TH. Recorded with the legendary producer GIL NORTON (Foo Fighters, Pixies), it’s the band’s most ambitious and accomplished offering to date.

To coincide with the album’s launch, MARMOZETS have shared another taster of the album in the shape of the new track ‘HABITS’. It’s a danceable riff-fest which sees Becca adopt a dreamy, soaring vocal style – and is, explains Sam, “about certain people having certain habits that aren’t good, and getting very carried away.”

While ‘Play’, the pounding ‘New Religion’, the pulse-quickening ‘Major System Error’ and the spiky ‘Lost In Translation’ find MARMOZETS’ embracing a new intensity within their controlled chaos, the band have the courage to explore fresh territory too.

A stark and sombre standout is ‘Me & You’ – its sparse arrangement befitting the raw sentiment of the song. It was inspired by the death of the MacIntyres’ beloved grandmother, who was always an enthusiastic supporter of the band. Another departure comes with ‘Run With The Rhythm’, an epic head rush of a track that was chosen to close the album because of its message of encouragement.

“We created the album for ourselves,” says rhythm guitarist Sam MacIntyre. “It’s not that we don’t care about our fans – we absolutely love them – but the reason they like what we do is because of the way we are.” Vocalist Becca MacIntyre adds, “We don’t do things because they’re cool; we do them because they feel right”

After returning with incendiary sets at the Reading and Leeds Festivals as well as a sold-out tour in August, MARMOZETS are about to embark upon a fresh headline tour. Demand for tickets saw their London show at the Garage sell-out weeks in advance, so an extra date has been added at ULU on February 7th to satisfy demand.

Consisting of two sets of siblings, the MacIntyres (Becca, Sam and drummer Josh) and the Bottomleys (lead guitarist Jack and bassist Will), MARMOZETS built a cult underground following with a series of independently released EPs. Their reputation exploded after they signed to Roadrunner Records and released their debut album ‘The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets’. Praised by Q, Noisey, NME and The Guardian, it also won Kerrang!’s coveted Album of the Year award.

‘KNOWING WHAT YOU KNOW NOW’ will be released on digital, CD and limited edition blue vinyl formats. Fans who pre-order the album from marmozets.co.uk will receive instant downloads of ‘Play’ and ‘Habits’.

The MARMOZETS’ second full-length offering is an album that feels right to its creators, and will sound even better to fans old and new. Prepare to get to know the most exciting record of 2018.

Milk Teeth announce new EP ‘Go Away’ with the official video for ‘Nearby Catfight’!

Posted on September 25, 2017

Pre-order the limited edition transparent 12″ vinyl and exclusive pre-order t-shirt now

Milk Teeth’s debut Roadrunner Records EP ‘Be Nice’ elevated them to become Brit rock’s brightest hope with two Rockest Records courtesy of Radio 1’s Daniel P Carter as well as further daytime support across the station.

Now Milk Teeth have unleashed new track ‘Nearby Catfight’, a quick-fire assault of snarling attitude, effervescent punk rock and gnarled grunge melodies. The track is the first to be taken from the band’s new EP ‘Go Away’ (produced by Neil Kennedy) which will be released on November 17th.

While ‘Be Nice’ focused on the eclectic extremes of Milk Teeth’s sound, ‘Go Away’ finds the band streamlining their song craft into straight-to-the-point firecrackers in the shape of ‘I Stabbed You First’ and ‘Lillian’. They also highlight closing track ‘Big Sky’ as a song which “indulges our love of big riffs and takes things back to our original inspirations as a band that helped form our early releases.”

“‘Go Away’ is faster, more frantic and much more tongue-in-cheek lyrically than ‘Be Nice’,” says vocalist/guitarist Becky Blomfield. “The songs are reflective but with a fun spin on the subject matter. This EP is a representation of everything the band can do now and the broad spectrum of influences we put to use during the writing process.”

Released on digital and limited edition yellow vinyl formats, the ‘Go Away’ EP is now available to pre-order at milkteethpunx.com. In addition, a brand new t-shirt design is available to buy exclusively as a bundle with the 12” vinyl throughout the EP’s pre-order run.

Recent months have seen MILK TEETH sell-out a UK headline tour and play festivals including 2000 Trees, Hit The Deck, LeeFest and Amplified. Their debut performances at the Slam Dunk Festival saw Kerrang!, Team Rock, Upset and NME all pick them as a highlight of the weekend. Next comes a major tour as support to Good Charlotte:

November
27th – Southampton, 02 Guildhall
28th – Nottingham, Rock City
30th – Glasgow, Barrowland

December
1st – Birmingham, O2 Academy
2nd – Manchester, Academy
3rd – London, O2 Academy Brixton

Sepultura ‘Chaos A.D.’ and ‘Roots’ Expanded Editions!

Posted on September 14, 2017

Sepultura broadened its musical horizons with Chaos A.D. and Roots, a pair of acclaimed albums that took the Brazilian band’s hard-rocking sound in bold and exciting new directions.
This fall, Rhino will revisit those back-to-back classics with remastered versions that are expanded with rare and unreleased studio and live recordings.

The albums are available for pre-order now.

13 October – Chaos A.D. 2CD, 2LP & digital

3 November – Roots 2CD, 2LP & digital

Sepultura was in the midst of a creative and commercial peak in 1993 when it released Chaos A.D.: the album ushered in a more groove-based sound on songs like the singles “Refuse/Resist,” “Territory” and “Slave New World.” Three years after, the band returned with Roots, a record deeply influenced by the Brazilian rhythms incorporated into tracks like “Itsári” and “Ratamahatta.”

Iggor and Max Cavalera are touring the Roots album (Return to Roots Tour) in Europe throughout the summer into the late fall

And Iggor Cavalera has a message for you…
