Trivium release new music video for Endless Night

Posted on April 9, 2018

Trivium have released the video for “Endless Night” from their latest critically acclaimed eighth album THE SIN AND THE SENTENCE, out now via Roadrunner Records.

Watch the performance-driven and visually-charged video, which was shot in Orlando by director John Deeb and produced by Deeb Studios, here.

In other Trivium news, the band was recently nominated for “Best International Band” at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods. The foursome, currently on the road in Europe, will resume U.S. touring this spring, supporting Bullet for My Valentine and appearing at a slew of festivals, including Rock on the Range, Rocklahoma, and Carolina Rebellion, among others. The band will play several headline shows, as well. All Trivium tour dates are below.

ICYMI — the band released a video recapping the Fall 2017 leg of The Sin and The Sentence Tour, featuring Arch Enemy. It was a massively successful trek for the band and boasted some of the best North American attendance tallies in Trivium’s history. Watch it here and you’ll feel as though you are front and center at a Trivium show.

Recorded with producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Gojira) at Santa Ana, California’s Hybrid Studios, THE SIN AND THE SENTENCE finds Trivium – Matt Heafy (lead vocals, lead guitar), Corey Beaulieu (guitar, vocals), Paolo Gregoletto (bass) and Alex Bent (drums) – returning with their first new music since their celebrated 2015 LP, SILENCE IN THE SNOW. The new LP also features the band’s first recordings with new drummer Bent who joined the band last year.

Listen to the title track and “The Heart From Your Hate.”

Roadrunner Records is excited to announce the signing of Coheed and Cambria. The progressive unit comprised of Claudio Sanchez (Vocals/Guitar), Travis Stever (Guitar), Josh Eppard (Drums), and Zach Cooper (Bass) has gripped listeners and press around the globe with their visionary compositions and conceptual mastery.  The band made the announcement in a shadowy video clip shared today on Roadrunner USA’s official YouTube channel.

The black and white clip shows a mask being constructed along with a narration that reads:

“Know now there is no time…

Space, between the Well and unknowing

Our story starts there

Well within our future

Yet far beyond our past

In a romance between a pair of unheavenly creatures…”

THE FEVER 333 SIGN TO ROADRUNNER RECORDS

Posted on March 23, 2018

MARCH 23, 2018 – Roadrunner Records has announced its signing of THE FEVER 333. The Los Angeles-based trio’s debut EP, MADE AN AMERICA, released via Roadrunner Records/333 Wreckords Crew, is available today at all digital music retailers and streaming services with accompanying merchandise available via the band’s webstore.

Comprised of vocalist Jason Aalon Butler [ex-letlive.], drummer Aric Improta [Night Verses], and guitarist Stephen Harrison [ex-The Chariot], THE FEVER 333 are explicitly devoted to a revolutionary cause, delivering aggressive advocacy through a molotov cocktail of punk, hip-hop, and thrash. MADE AN AMERICA exhibits THE FEVER 333’s revolutionary activism, with lead track “Walking In My Shoes” serving as the banner for THE FEVER 333’s focus on community, charity, and change.

“The movement is much greater than the music,” says Butler. “The art is only a contingent piece. We want to make sure we’re just as involved in the activism and actual activation. By no means do we expect other artists to take on this task. Most of the people who made big improvements were either assassinated or just called crazy. We make it ostensibly clear that everything we do is in an active effort for change. It’s about bringing back that socio-political mindfulness. We’re trying to write the soundtrack to the revolution that we know is about to happen.”

Code Orange share ‘only1(the hard way)’

Posted on March 1, 2018

Code Orange have shared “only1(the hard way),” “only1(the hard way)” is a remix of Code Orange’s “Only One Way,” which was released earlier this month as part of Adult Swim’s Singles Series.

Code Orange guitarist and vocalist Shade, who helmed the remix, explained to The FADER, “Keeping a unique creative energy in every aspect of Code Orange is something we are always thinking about and it’s what drives me personally.  This song was a great opportunity for me to portray my alternate vision of the song and for us to bridge the gap with other genres and artists we are influenced by.  We are constantly evolving and we’re going to keep pushing the boundaries of our band.”

Recorded with producer Will Yip at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, “Only One Way” and the accompanying remix, “only1(the hard way),” mark the first new music from the band since the release of their widely acclaimed LP FOREVER, which earned Code Orange a Grammy nomination and topped several “Best of 2017” lists including: Rolling Stone’s “20 Best Metal Albums of 2017,” Revolver’s “20 Best Albums of 2017,” and The Independent’s “Top 20 Rock & Metal Albums of 2017.

Following this year’s Grammy’s, Code Orange spoke to Rolling Stone.
