Code Orange reveal new song ‘Bleeding In The Blur’

Posted on January 6, 2017

Code Orange have unveiled “Bleeding In The Blur,” the third track to be released from their anticipated new LP, FOREVER.

“Bleeding In The Blur” follows the recently released “Kill The Creator,” and FOREVER’s title track / accompanying official music video which reaped critical admiration. Rolling Stone exclaimed, “FOREVER captures some of the most punishing noise the band has recorded to date, featuring songs rife with sudden transitions to still-harsher textures.” Nerdist declared, “Code Orange is back and heavier than ever,” adding, “These kids were heavy before, but they just increased density by a hundred percent and then crushed all livings under their weight.” CLRVYNT hailed “Forever” as Code Orange’s, “…most depraved set of grooves yet,” asserting, “…don’t underestimate the quartet, ’cause they’re out for blood.”

FOREVER is available for pre-order on iTunes with exclusive pre-order bundles – consisting of limited edition red vinyl in special gatefold packaging and an exclusive long sleeve T-shirt design – available in the Roadrunner store. All orders will receive instant grat downloads of “Forever,” “Kill The Creator,” and “Bleeding In The Blur.”

Recorded with producers Will Yip at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA and Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studios in Salem, MA, FOREVER is a jarring and experimental body of work, pushing the envelope with songs like; “Bleeding In The Blur,” “Kill The Creator,” and “Spy. Code Orange is comprised of Jami Morgan (Drums / Vocals), Eric Balderose (Guitar / Vocals), Reba Meyers (Guitar / Vocals) and Joe Goldman (Bass).

Code Orange release new song ‘Kill The Creator’

Posted on December 15, 2016

Code Orange have premiered “Kill The Creator,” the second track to be released from their anticipated new LP, FOREVER. “Kill The Creator” and its accompanying visual debuted today via CLRVYNT, who also sat down with Code Orange’s Jami Morgan and Reba Meyers for an in-depth discussion on the new material.

Created by Brandon Allen Bolmer, the “Kill The Creator” visual embodies the vengeance of a grim retribution. Bolmer states, “locked in a kill room, a man takes a merciless beating from the hellish force that he created from all the wrong he has done.” Stream “Kill The Creator” and read the full interview here.

“Kill The Creator” follows the release of FOREVER’s title track and its accompanying official music video which garnered critical praise upon release earlier this year.

FOREVER is available now for pre-order with exclusive pre-order bundles – consisting of limited edition red vinyl in special gatefold packaging and an exclusive long sleeve T-shirt design . You can also pre-order the album on iTunes where you will get an instant download of ‘Kill The Creator’ and the title track ‘Forever’.

Creeper Reveal ‘Hiding With Boy’s Official Music Video!

Posted on December 12, 2016

2016 has seen CREEPER power to prominence with a string of accolades – Best British Newcomer at the Kerrang! Awards, Best New Band at the Metal Hammer Golden God Awards, a daytime playlist at Radio 1, and praise from Sir Elton John on his Beats 1 show. Now the Southampton sextet conclude the year with the release of the brand new single ‘Hiding With Boys’.

Capturing their unique cocktail of rollicking punk rock and dark gothic romanticism, ‘Hiding With Boys’ also marries Will Gould’s impassioned croon with sweet harmonies from keyboardist Hannah Greenwood.  Produced by the band’s regular collaborator Neil Kennedy at The Ranch and then mixed by Neal Avron (Twenty One Pilots), ‘Hiding With Boys’ is the latest tantalising teaser to be taken from their debut album ‘Eternity, In Your Arms’ which will be released on March 24th and can be pre-ordered at creepercult.com.

The track’s video extends the storyline that CREEPER first instigated when they posted ‘missing’ photos of each band member online following their sets at the Reading and Leeds Festivals. Part of a trilogy set in the band’s hometown of Southampton, the video tells the story of paranormal investigator ‘James Scythe’. The third and final character in a narrative tapestry Creeper began to weave on 2015s ‘The Callous Heart’ EP and continued on 2016s ‘The Stranger’ EP, ‘James Scythe’ represents the story’s human centre, and is deeply connected to the album’s lyrical themes and concepts.

“Hiding With Boys is the very first song we wrote for Eternity, In Your Arms,” says frontman Will Gould. “It’s a bridge of sorts from the band we were on the EPs to the band that we are now, and creating it helped us to find a way to bring our incredibly varied influences together. When we wrote that chorus and the song’s huge climax, we knew we would be able to capture our ambitions for the full length. It’s a song of unrequited love told from the perspective of a ‘tragic monster’, and is a lyrical sequel of sorts to the track’ Black Mass’.”

Having just completed a tour with Pierce The Veil and letlive., CREEPER’s rise can be demonstrated as each London headline show has increased in scale from The Old Blue Last to The Barfly to The Underworld and now to THE ELECTRIC BALLROOM on MARCH 30TH. CREEPER’s immersive and theatrical stage show (previously seen at landmark events including their homecoming Halloween show and their headline gig at The Underworld) will be more elaborate than ever before, and will feature on all tour dates for the first time in the band’s history.

Beyond The Flames: Home Video Vol II is a treasure trove of gripping content, containing over 3.5 hours of footage. It is a complete piece that is sure to delight KsE fans, both diehards and casual, due the compelling history of the band and the honesty in which the story is told.

At the heart of this release is the 75-minute documentary that chronicles the return of original vocalist Jesse Leach, after nearly a decade away, to the band he helped form back in 1999.

The release also examines the KsE early years that eventually led to Leach’s initial departure. Produced and directed by KsE storyteller Denise Korycki, this documentary picks up right where their 2005 {Set This} World Ablaze release left off, revealing the untold rest-of-the Killswitch Engage story. Watch an exclusive clip from the documentary here.

For those KsE fans craving more live footage, Beyond the Flames: Home Video Vol II delivers in spades. Seventeen live performances have been captured from around the globe, including Leach’s first show back in the band, Download Festival, Knotfest, Loud Park Japan, and some surprises along the way. Additional bonus material includes music videos, unique individual band member profiles, outtakes, and a bonus audio disc of six, previously unreleased live tracks from the band’s now-legendary 2014 “Monster Mosh” show in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The track listing for the live CD is:
No End in Sight

My Curse
The End of Heartache
Killswitch Engage are currently showing the UK exactly how good they are live, on tour with UK chums Bullet For My Valentine. The tour wraps up December 10 with 2 nights at the O2 Academy in Brixton, London.
