The guys at Stereoboard.com caught up with Black Stone Cherry bassist Jon Lawhon. Jon talks about putting on the Southern Hospitality tour which incorporated a fan selected setlist as well as a Q&A session. He also goes on to discuss the bands forthcoming album ‘Magic Mountain’ which will be released on May 5th. Jon had this to say about the highly anticipated new album; “Writing was actually really simple for us because we just went in and wrote what we wanted to write, how we wanted to do it. We just spent a lot of time focusing on us instead of trying to worry so much about what everyone in radio was going to think and all that. We made a record that was for us and for our fans.”
