DREAM THEATER’S JOHN PETRUCCI GIVES US THE LOWDOWN ON HIS DIMARZIO PICK UPS…
Posted on February 1, 2012As we mentioned last week, LAMB OF GOD’s Mark Morton launched his own series of DiMarzio pick ups at NAMM this year (click here to read more) but what you may not have known is that DiMarzio pick ups are also a favourite of DREAM THEATER guitarist, John Petrucci. He desciribed why he loves this particular brand of pick ups:
“In the style of music that I play, I need to cover a wide range of sounds: from raw, tight, and heavy, to warm and singing, to articulate and expressive. DiMarzio pickups help to bring all of these elements out in my playing. They have truly become a part of my musical identity as a guitarist.”
