RUSH’S FRIEND AND PHOTOGRAPHER, ANDREW MACNAUGHTAN, SADLY PASSES AWAY…
Posted on January 30, 2012Photographer Andrew MacNaughtan who has been a longtime documenter of RUSH’s exploits, sadly passed away whilst in Los Angeles last week. It is reported that he suffered a heart attack whilst on a trip to California shooting the band.
Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart issued a joint statement on their Facebook page, which read as follows:
“We’re deeply shocked and heartbroken to learn of the sudden passing of our close friend and longtime photographer, Andrew MacNaughtan. He was a sweet person and a very talented artist. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed.”
