RUSH – TIME MACHINE 2011: LIVE IN CLEVELAND is the definitive live release from the Canadian rock legends and is being released on CD, DVD and Blu Ray on Monday.
Planet Rock are celebrating the release with a fantastic giveaway which will see one lucky Planet Rock listener land a SIGNED RUSH TIME MACHINE DRUM HEAD – an extremely rare and absolutely magnificent piece of rock and roll memorabilia!
Captured in April at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans arena during the trio’s extensive Time Machine world tour, TIME MACHINE 2011: LIVE IN CLEVELAND marks the band’s first live concert filmed in the United States. The choice to record in Cleveland was a deliberate nod of gratitude to the first city to support Rush on its airwaves.
The band’s typically ambitious set features their greatest hits, two songs from their forthcoming new album Clockwork Angels and, for the first time ever, a 30th anniversary performance of their classic MOVING PICTURES album in full.
In addition to the epic 26-song concert set, RUSH‘s notorious concept tour videos will be included on the DVD and Blu Ray editions alongside a pile of extras across two discs. The bonus material includes outtakes from the short films which feature during their live set, an alternate film version video for “Tom Sawyer”, and two rare pieces of RUSH live footage from the vault: “Need Some Love” from Laura Second Secondary School with original drummer John Rutsey and “Anthem” from Passaic New Jersey.
From Monday to Friday Planet Rock will be giving away a daily prize of TIME MACHINE 2011: LIVE IN CLEVELAND on CD and DVD and ONE randomly selected winner will be drawn from all of the entrants at the end of the week to win a stunning Time Machine Remo drum head signed by all three members of the band. BOOM!
