The Rorschach test; also known as the Rorschach inkblot test, the Rorschach technique, or simply theinkblot test, is a psychological test in which subjects’ perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using psychological interpretation, complex algorithms, or both. Some psychologists use this test to examine a person’s personality characteristics and emotional functioning. The test is named after its creator, Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach. The reason we’re explaining this to you is because our friends over at Roadrunner Germany found a brilliant interview with the guys from OPETH where they take part in a Rorschach Test. OPETH’s new album Heritage has been out since September and you can pick up a copy by clicking this link.
