Posted on August 23, 2011Gary Graff from Billboard.com has posted a feature about STAIND and the struggles the band faced during the recording of the latest self titled album and you can read an extract from that article below:
“Going into (‘Staind’) we all agreed that it needed to be a heavy record,” explains the singer, whose move to a solo career (his “Town Line” EP debuted at No. 1 on the country chart in March) pruned softer material such as “Outside” and “It’s Been Awhile” from Staind’s ouvre. “It needed to go back to what it was we set out to do 13 years ago and go back to that vibe and that energy, and we knew that was going to be the case going into it.”
