…in 2009, STAIND played a gig at the Dodge Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. Almost halfway through the set they played a cover of Pantera’s, This Love, which you can see below:

The 17th of August in 1993 also saw the release of Bloody Kisses, which is the third album by TYPE O NEGATIVE. Bloody Kisses was the first album on Roadrunner Records to achieve gold and platinum certification. The most successful single from Bloody Kisses was the song “Black No.1 (Little Miss Scare-All)”. A radio edit of the song was a staple of TYPE O NEGATIVE’s live show and the video appeared on Beavis and Butt-Head. It received a positive reaction from the gruesome twosome, which you can see below:

Beavis: These guys are like a cross between Danzig and MEGADETH.
Butt-Head: I think they’re like a cross between Danzig and my butt.
Beavis: That wasn’t very nice, Butt-Head.
Butt-Head: Yeah it was, that was a compliment. My butt rules.
