MEGADETH TRADING CARDS + INTERVIEW WITH THE SCORE…
Posted on August 18, 2011Score Media Inc. recently announced the 100th episode of theScore Music Series, a show that focuses on popular musicians’ passion for pro sports. The 100th episode of the series, released yesterday, features MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine discussing his humble beginnings hustling fans at drag racing events and how his martial arts skills recently came in handy in an encounter with a surly fan. Revolver magazine has devoted an entire special issue to the “Big Four” (Metallica, MEGADETH, Slayer and Anthrax), which includes exclusive interviews, rare photos, and much more. Part of that “much more” is the set of trading cards that they’ve come up with for each band. Modeled after Topps baseball cards from 1986 (the year MEGADETH released Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?, Slayer released Reign in Blood, and Metallica released Master of Puppets), the cards include career stats and trivia on each of the current members of the four bands in question.
