OPETH ALBUM UPDATE…OH, AND DID WE TELL YOU ABOUT THE TIME THEY GOT SONISPHERE MOSHING TO SILENCE?

OPETH will be the band who made the sky cry at Sonisphere UK for us here at Roadrunner UK HQ. The band played a sublime set and even got the crowd moshing to silence. That magic moment can be seen at THIS LOCATION. The set was streamed on the festival’s website and some of that footage is now online and can be found at the below links:

The band’s upcoming album HERITAGE is due to hit stores in September but for those of you
who just can’t wait, the ‘The Devil’s Orchard’ will be released as a single digitally on August
the 14th! There will be a standard CD release as well as a special edition release on the 19th
of September The special edition includes the album as well as a 5.1 mix of the album, a making
of documentary and a download card with two bonus tracks: Pyre and Face In the Snow. The
package also includes an OPETH coin, which we mentioned in a story earlier this week. The
tracklisting for Heritage is as follows:
