SHADOWS FALL’S MATT BACHAND TO JOIN TIMES OF GRACE FOR UK SHOWS
Posted on May 17, 2011TIMES OF GRACE singer Jesse Leach and guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz are pleased to announce that Matt Bachand, guitarist extraordinaire of Shadows Fall, will serve as the touring bassist for the band’s upcoming trek across Europe, which will of course include the band’s set at Download Festival and their two warm-up shows here in the UK.
Since Shadows Fall have toured with Killswitch Engage (the band from whence the Jesse/Adam partnership originates) many times and since both bands came up together in the burgeoning Massachusetts metal scene in the early part of the ‘00s, it makes complete sense for Bachand to strap on the bass and step into this role. Bachand is taking over for Daniel Struble, who is unable to make the particular road trip due to personal matters he must imminently address.
