STONE SOUR are currently tearing up the US of A on the Avalanche tour, but before theuy headed out on their home turf, they flew out to Australia for this years Soundwave Festival.

Whilst they were there, the fest chatted to the vocalist Corey Taylor and guitarist Josh Rand not only about the new album Audio Secrecy but also about the early years of the band, which pre-date Corey’s involvment with “the other woman”, Slipknot. They also touch upon the difficulties of the previous year, with Corey talking about how Vinnie Paul’s words of advice and the fan’s support have served him well in dealing with the loss of Slipknot bassist Paul Gray in May of last year.
