SLASH AND MYLES KENNEDY ON IGGY POP

Posted on March 5, 2011

Following on from last week’s clip where we chatted to SLASH and Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy about the track Beautiful Dangerous and working with Fergie, this week we talk to them about the legendary Iggy Pop and the track ‘We’re All Gonna Die’.

“[This track] is one of my faves. Iggy Pop is a genius and a brilliant, brilliant frontman.” states Myles, before Slash goes into more detail about working with Iggy on the track, including how he put his ideas for the track vocal over to Slash and his specific requirements re getting to the studio to record it…

Both of the aforementioned tracks are taken from Slash’s self titled album, which will be released as a special CD/DVD edition on Monday (March 7th). Pick that up online from this location. The standard edition is available now.
