OPETH CONFIRMED FOR SONISPHERE
Posted on March 15, 2011“We’re chuffed about the invite to play Sonisphere in the UK.” states OPETH frontman Mikael Akerfeldt over at the Official Sonisphere Website, “Not sure who else is on the bill, but I guess that info is just a click away. Regardless, we’re coming to play to YOU, first and foremost and anything else wouldn’t matter at the end of the day. Always loved playing to the UK crowds, and I’m sure this gig will be no exception. Currently working on their follow-up to 2008’s frankly sublime Watershed, Opeth will therefore be gracing our shores with their presence at the festival, which takes place July 8-10th at Knebworth. Tickets are on sale now and you can pick them up and get the full line-up at this location.
