DEVILDRIVER ON ‘BEAST’, A TON OF BLACK LABEL SOCIETY GOODIES, MURDERDOLLS, SATYRICON, COHEED AND MUCH MORE IN THIS MONTHS METAL HAMMER

Posted on January 19, 2011

Get your laughing gear around the latest issue of Metal Hammer for a veritable cornucopia of Roadrunner goodness! In the February issue of the mag, which is in newsagents now, you can read the mags 8/10 review of Times of Grace’s debut album (which, incidentally, hit shelves yesterday!), read Satyricon vocalist Satyr’s ‘Life Story’ and check out ‘Spanish Inquisition’ with Coheed And Cambria. Murderdolls front-man Wednesday 13 takes the mag through his ‘Disks of Doom’ and the ‘2011 Hotlist’ shows that the year ahead is going to be one hell of a year for metal, with a multitude of offerings and events this year coming from the Roadrunner roster- including their top two of the year- The ‘Big Four’- featuring our very own Megadeth– coming to the UK and Slipknot returning to the stage.

And if THAT wasn’t enough, there is a glorious 3 page feature with DevilDriver where MH scribe Dom Lawson chats to front man Dez Fafara about forthcoming album Beast. “The title means that the music on the album is a beast,” states Dez, “what we’ve become as a touring machine is a beast…My band, they’re definitely a beast.”

Not only that but the mag are also giving you the opportunity to win a frankly orgasmic combo of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY prizes, specifically- a pair of tickets to a show from their forthcoming tour, a meet and greet with the band, an Order Of The Black limited edition box set and- are you ready for this- a signed Epiphone signature Zakk Wylde model guitar!!

In short, if you’re a fan of Roadrunner, you got yourself some essential reading this month…
