THE YEAR IN REVIEW: GRAND MAGUS

Posted on December 18, 2010

It’s time for another of our A Year In Review chats to follow up our previous catch-ups with Airbourne, Dream Theater and Megadeth! This time, we chat to front-man of mighty metallers GRAND MAGUS, JB.

What was your personal theme song this year and why?
Bathory – “Shores In Flames”, because it’s always my personal theme song, every year.

What’s the most embarrassing or funny thing that happened on tour this year? Tell us the story!
Alright, we played a show in Ibiza. This in itself in so embarrassing I hesitate to even think about it. In fact, the band has decided that we actually never were there at all. Hence, all accusations that we have been there will be vehemently denied. Where? What? Are you high?

What’s the biggest lesson you learned this year?
You can’t polish a turd.

What’s the coolest thing you discovered this year?
Made some new friends that make me laugh and appreciate certain things that I never thought I’d be a part of.

What’s your new year’s resolution?
World domination.
