SLASH: “NEXT UP I’M GOING TO MAKE A FULL ALBUM WITH MYLES KENNEDY”
Posted on December 8, 2010When SLASH was in the UK recently to attend the Classic Rock Awards to pick up his gong for Best Album of 2010 for ‘Slash‘, the lovely Ruth over at Female First Music caught up with Slash on the phone and asked him about the album and more specifically about the new video featuring Fergie.
“That was totally her idea,” he comments, “I mean c’mon I wouldn’t come up with that! It was her idea. I know Fergie and the Fergie I know is not the one you necessarily see in Black Eyed Peas. It is her but she doesn’t get to stretch out very much because she’s part of this group, but she’s quite a character so when she mentioned the video and mentioned the idea, I was totally ready to let her go with it and that’s what we did.”
He also sings the praises of tour vocalist Myles Kennedy (of label mates Alter Bridge)
