There’s a lot of excitement around the forthcoming Tron: Legacy movie, especially around leading lady Olivia Wilde who is, one might say, rather pleasing on the eye… Details Magazine recently took time with the actress for a shoot and showcased some of the shots on their website, set to THEORY OF A DEADMAN’S US hit ‘Santa Monica’.
Taken from the band’s 2005 album Gasoline, ‘Santa Monica’ is about how “…people worldwide are drawn towards American culture and the myth of traveling to L.A. to live their dreams and ‘making it’ only to have their bubbles burst because of the reality of it all.” explained vocalist Taylor Connolly in an interview with ARTISTdirect.com around the release of the record, “Santa Monica is a beautiful place that I have actually been to. After going there I decided to use the city name in a song about losing someone. Santa Monica became a metaphor for a better place the girl goes to, leaving me behind sad and lonely.”
