When an album comes together, it’s not as linear a process as some may think. Write, studio, record, release generally doesn’t apply. When a band finally enters the studio, tracks can suddenly take on a life of it’s own and really start to develop.
If you click on the player below, you will see Corey Taylor taking us through more tracks from STONE SOUR’S new album Audio Secrecy in the second part of our track by track. In this part we learn how ‘Say You’ll Haunt Me’ was one of those tracks that became truly special in the studio and we also learn who contributed to ‘Dying’ and ‘Just Be Honest’.
Check back tomorrow for part 3, and if you missed part 1, you can see that here.
Audio Secrecy is in stores now. You can pick it up online at THIS LOCATION.
