PAUL GRAY WINS SERVICES TO METAL AT 2010 KERRANG AWARDS- COREY TAYLOR TALKS TO ITN
Posted on August 3, 2010On Thursday 29th July at a secret location in London, Kerrang! Magazine held it’s annual awards ceremony. The festivities, themed the seven deadly sins and attended by rock royalty, were hosted by non other than Slipknot / Stone Sour front-man Corey Taylor and his good friend Scott Ian of Anthrax fame.
At the ceremony, the magazine paid tribute to Corey’s band-mate and best friend Slipknot bassist Paul Gray, who sadly passed away in May, awarding him with the golden K! for Services To Metal. Corey accepted the award on Paul’s behalf to a standing ovation.
