ROB ZOMBIE received a nomination in the Best Live Band Category and will perform at the ceremony in what is being billed as a ‘must see’ performance. Competition in this category comes from LAMB OF GOD, whos drummer Chris Adler also gains a nomination in the Best Drummer category.

Next up is SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR vocalist Corey Taylor, who garners a nomination for the Best Vocalist category.

In the Album of the Year category, MEGADETH gain a nomination for the critically acclaimed ENDGAME. Fellow Roadrunner artists HEAVEN & HELL also gain a nomination in this category for their current album The Devil You Know

Megadeth main-man Dave also receives a nomination in the Best Guitarist category alongside BLACK LABEL SOCIETY’S mainman Zakk Wylde, HEAVEN & HELL’S Tony Iommi and the man, the legend SLASH. In fact, Tom Morello and Kirk Hammet are the only non-RR shredders in the running for this particular award!

And if all that wasn’t enough, HEAVEN & HELL’S and KISS pick up nods in the Don’t Call It A Comeback category!!
