HEAFY AND LI CREATED SUPER-GROUP TO PERFORM AT DOWNLOAD
Posted on April 1, 2009Matt Heafy TRIVIUM, Howard Jones KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, John Fred Young BLACK STONE CHERRY, Jon Miller DEVILDRIVER and Herman Li DRAGONFORCE are to perform a one-off set at this year’s Download Festival as RR heavy metal super-group HOGCAT.
The idea first came together when Matt and Herman met on the ‘Black Crusade’ tour and starting working on some “ultra-shredding classic Metal”, eventually demoing 7 songs. Upon seeing the Download line-up talks began re roping in some of their Roadrunner bandmates to play a one-off show on the 3rd stage, and so HOGCAT was born.
