REMAINING PARAMORE DATES CANCELLED

Posted on February 22, 2008

Paramore have cancelled their remaining UK tour dates citing ‘personal reasons’, meaning therefore that KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES will obviously not be kicking it up on stage as part of that line-up. Paramore will be re-scheduling these shows, but it is unknown at this time when this is likely to be and therefore whether KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES will be able to finish off the tour with them.

The effected dates are:

Portsmouth Guildhall on February 26, Nottingham, Rock City (27) and Glasgow, Academy (28).

Aled comments on his recent blog:

I should probably tell you that the dates we DID do were absolutely amazing and some of the best shows we’ve ever done. All the crowds have been awesome and we’ve just had a ridiculous amount of fun hanging out and partying with such awesome bands and people every day. We’ll miss them like we miss Noel’s House Party. Sadface. We even managed to squeeze in a little party time where we learnt how to create a succesful human pyramid at a power ballads night in Camden. Iain and I also did a little dance for Paramore and New Found Glory, atop a pool table (that’s probably no longer in use) in Birmingham…

PLANET LOUD INTERVIEWS THE CULT

Posted on February 20, 2008

THE CULT recently spoke to Planet Loud about what they have been up to since the release of last years ‘Born Into This’, about how the album came into fruition and the upcoming UK tour. Talking about how the band came to their current dynamic, Billy Duffy coments,

I think when we first started it was good and we had a common thing over the first few years as most bands do. You’re a gang, you against the world, success changes that though. Same with any band.

With the guys headding to the UK later this week, he continues,

I enjoy coming and playing the UK, it definitely gets me on some sort of emotional level without getting too soppy, I get touched when we play and people show up even though I’ve chosen to live in another country.
