36 CRAZYFISTS guitarist Steve Holt has posted the following message on the band’s official web site: “Today (31st Oct) marks the official beginning of pre-production for us. Our producer Sal Villanueva (THURSDAY, TAKING BACK SUNDAY, VISION OF DISORDER) flew in last night from New Jersey so we figured we’d kick this thing off with a trip to the bar for a few drinks and a little shoptalk. I got to say, Sal is definitely the man for the job. We all hit it off great and Im positive that Sal is going to pull the best out of us and knows what kind of quality record were looking to do. We have been writing hard all summer and have filtered through and trashed two albums’ worth of material. Leaving only the best of the best, we have assembled our sickest set of songs by far, that are very 36, yet a large leap forward from the last album. And with Sal on board now, I have never been so stoked to record an album. This is going to destroy. We already have click tracks that Thomas has been playing to and we got these songs fairly tight, but that is what pre-production is for we have to make these songs an air tight, impenetrable wall of molten metal. This we will accomplish. Today will consist of playing through these songs all day long and letting Sal get a feel for them as we begin to dissect and reassemble these bad boys. More to come…”
The year-long, multi-tiered celebration of Roadrunner Records’ 25th Anniversary culminates on 15th December in New York City when the label hosts a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ concert at the brand new Nokia Theatre in Times Square. í¢äåñThis is how hardcore is supposed to soundí¢äå í¢äåäóì Kerrang! magazine TERROR bring the purest hardcore attitude to their music. Their brutal, stripped-down, uncompromising, sweat-soaked stomp of an album, ‘One With The Underdogs’ has won them fans and followers across the globe, thanks to the genuine power transmitted by their songs and the California band’s relentless, hard-working approach to playing shows. Now, their UK fans get a bite and can catch their heroes at the following shows in January 2006 Sat 21st Jan í¢äåäóì Newport City Live Arena – í£9 Sun 22nd Jan í¢äåäóì Milton Keynes The Pitz – í£8 Mon 23rd Jan í¢äåäóì Aberdeen Moshulu – í£8 Tue 24th Jan – Manchester Jilly’s Musicbox – í£8 Wed 25th Jan í¢äåäóì Norwich Waterfront – í£9 Thu 26th Jan í¢äåäóì London Underworld – í£11 Support comes from Blacklisted and Donnybrook. Hardcore has lived and breathed in many people and through myriad bands. It has weathered fads and trends, yet will continue to outlast whatever the world will throw at it. Why? Because there has always been a band to fly the flag for its true spirit and carry it forward. From Agnostic Front to Madball, Cro-Mags to Sick of It All. Today that band is Terror. Long may they reign.
