Walls Of Jericho have posted the following second studio update on their Myspace profile. “well we started on guitars yesterday. i think its safe to say we have achieved ultimate sweetness in tones. very old thrash but modern at the same time. kinda like us so it works out. and today we are gonna lay down a vocal track or something so the process has officially started its final phase. i have a feeling its gonna be huge. maybe by huge i mean a huge waste of your time but maybe not. you’ll just have to wait and find out for yourself now wont you? the answer is yep. ok thats all for now. sick tones, sick screams, sick. ben is a mega munch.”

NEW KsE MUSIC?

Posted on February 12, 2008

According to a posting at Blabbermouth, wrestler Randy Orton’s new theme appears to be a new KSE tune. Check out a 37-second audio sample accompanied by a video preview of WWE wrestler Randy Orton’s new entrance theme. A low-quality version of the song was used by Orton last week on “Friday Night Smackdown!”, and the full track is supposed to be on WWE’s upcoming entrance theme CD, “WWE Reckless Intent”. It is not presently clear if the song will make it to KILLSWITCH ENGAGE’s upcoming studio album, which is not expected to surface before the end of the year at the earliest. Check out some images from the studio My synopsis on the whole thing? Bring back the “ULTIMATE WARRIOR”

A SECOND WOJ OF NEWS

Posted on February 12, 2008

Walls Of Jericho have posted the following second studio update on their Myspace profile. “yeah so. Ben is still a munch. Nothing on that end has changed. Today we finished up the drums. Its sounding awesome. I know everyone says that shit and every studio update is the same anymore but let me assure you im speakin the truth. We have spent 6 days on drums and we have definately got the best out of dustin. He should be really proud of himself as he’s done a great job. So we have a few tricks up our sleeves for this record for sure. Some suprising twists so to speak. They may suck they may not. Im sure no matter what we do we will be accused of selling out, even if it was straight hard ass metal with no singing and all fuckin blast beats. You know how it is so dont hate the players hate the game. With that said for real there are some neat little things goin on and definately some suprises so get excited about that. It offers lots more diversity I think than most bands right now. But hell what do i know it may be the exact same record. Thats how it goes sometimes. whatever. we start on some sick intro to the record tomorrow. should be evil or stupid or something, not sure until its done how its gonna turn out but im optomistic so you should be too.ummmmmmmmmm, not a whole lot goin on other than that. aparently the hula hoop is the #1 toy of all time. seems weird, i would have picked monopoly or some shit. woohoo! and if you watch uranium all the time you will sometimes see videos of metal bands. yep we found that out through hard detective work and lots of patience.that is all for now. prepare to have this new record get you pregnant upon first listen, man or woman, boy or girl, no one is safe. yep.”

CHIMAIRA UPDATE

Posted on February 12, 2008

Prog-Thrash masters Chimaira have posted the following update on their official site. “So as you probably already know we have lined up quite a bit of touring for the next couple of months. We tried to keep this under wraps and make an official announcement with everyone, but with the powers of the Internet these things are impossible. Hell, the singer of KROKUS can’t even trim his toenails without Blabbermouth posting it. “Here is the deal… We are doing a Jager-sponsored tour with ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE, GOD FORBID and the slowest band on the planet, HATE ETERNAL. We can’t wait to sit behind Roddy and watch his inhuman speed. We also have prepared a very strong alarm system to watch over our beer, Jager and food so that GOD FORBID can’t steal it. Last but not least we are looking forward to sharing the stage with ARCH ENEMY and NEVERMORE for the first time. As fans of every single one of these bands, this will be a great tour. I would even call it the definitive spring metal tour. “On to this European tour rumor. It is true that we will be on the first U.K./Europe’s Sounds Of The Underground tour. With the exception of MANNTIS, this is a kick-ass reunion from last summer for us. SOTU was the most fun we have had on a tour in a long ass time, so it’s going to be kick ass to do it all over again. I can’t wait to share Cuban recipies with MADBALL, show ALL THAT REMAINS that we are still as psychotic as we were in the fall, play some poker with UNEARTH, watch TERROR keep up their name sake, and hopefully Adair from MANNTIS will make us another pumpkin haha…To sum it up, we look forward to jamming with all of the bands and once again show our appreciation to our amazing fans abroad. “What else has been going on you ask? Well, two guys in CHIMAIRA have recently become engaged, so congratulations are in order to them! (Way to put the pressure on the rest of us in serious relationships, thanks assholes!) Andols has been getting back into shape both at the gym and with us. I am not bullshitting when I say we sound better then ever before and we have a new fire under our asses so when we get out on that stage look the fuck out! The rest of the guys have grown kick ass mustaches, hopefully they keep them for the touring, and finally for the two months we were off we spent it wisely. We have thirteen songs written for a new record already. We don’t plan on stopping yet, we have a ton of more ideas. We hope to get into the studio in the fall. So kiddies…if you want to see CHIMAIRA in 2006, you better make it to these shows. For areas we haven’t hit on this cycle yet, don’t fret, we are working to get out to you, but if we can’t…we promise to be there in ’07.”

A WOJ OF NEWS

Posted on February 12, 2008

Michigan Monsters Walls Of Jericho have posted the following album update on their MYSPACE profile. “First off before I even get started let me say that Ben Shiegel is a munch. With that said he is doing a damn fine job at the helm. We came here with songs and he insists on working on them for hours and hours til they become “tunes”. We showed up in cleveland on friday and got right to work. We are about half way done with the drums at this point and everything is goin good. Tones are sweet and so far our songs rule. Its always different to hear them coming together after bangin em out in practice for a few months and we couldn’t be more happy. The songs may be a little bit different but lots of energy and definitely still kinda tough, although we were never that tough to begin with. We should be done with drums on friday or so and then start on bass or guitars or some shit. sweet. anyways, we’ll keep you posted as more progresses. until then…… <3 woj" Walls Of Jericho are to call their new album 'With Devils Amongst Us All'. And is due for release late June
