ROADRUNNER UK presents the last in it’s series of interviews from backstage at Download 2008! Here we see Joel and

WITHIN TEMPTATION have revealed the artwork for upcoming DVD release BLACK SYMPHONY. The DVD showcases the band infront of a 10,000 strong crowd, performing with a full orchestra and a choir. A spectacle not to be missed! Check out the artwork and full details of the release HERE.

At midnight, July 15th, MTV2 will show the METAL HAMMER GOLDEN GOD AWARDS 2008. Hosted at Indigo at the O2 Arena, the ceremony saw performances and appearances from a plethora of metal heros including some of your favourite ROADRUNNER artists.

Amongst the attendees were none other than Max Cavalera (CAVALERA CONSPIRACY), Sharon Den Adel and Ruud Jolie (WITHIN TEMPTATION), Phil Demmel (MACHINE HEAD), Joel and Ryan O’Keeffe (AIRBOURNE), Vadim Pruzhanov (DRAGONFORCE) and Dave Pybus (CRADLE OF FILTH). Tune in and see if you can see your fave artists milling around on the night!!

In anticipation of this Ben Folds produced album release, Amanda Palmer will be returning to the UK in August, to perform a solo show in the intimate environs of the ICA in London on August 21st. Castles in Cardiff were obviously not quite fulfilling the LAMB OF GOD posse’s appetite for UK history when the guys were over here last on tour, as this, the latest instalment of ‘deleted scenes’ from their current DVD release WALK WITH ME IN HELL shows. Here we see the guys checking out what is claimed to be the ‘oldest bar in the UK’ whilst in Nottingham. I don’t think the lads were entirely convinced…

AMANDA PALMER has kicked off a series of videos to be released in the run-up to the release of her solo album WHO KILLED AMANDA PALMER with ‘WHO KILLED AMANDA PALMER PART 1- ASTRONAUT’.

The videos, each of which will feature a track from the upcoming release, will premier initially on her OFFICIAL YOUTUBE PAGE.
