ROADRUNNER: So how was last nights show? JUSTIN: It was totally nuts, the kids were completely insane. It was a great way to start the tour off, and we’re completely fired up now. I spent most of the show donning a sweet wrestling mask that a kid throw on stage. ADAM (interrupts): Yeah and then they threw a snake on stage, and I put the fucker down my pants. But then the trouser snake got thirsty so I had to take him out and give him some beer! ROADRUNNER: So that’s what people can expect from the show? JUSTIN: What they can expect is a bunch of fools trying to have fun! Also we’ve been rehearsing the material of the new album (As Daylight Dies) loads and it’s sounding phat! Porcupine Tree has revealed the title to their new release ‘Fear of a Blank Planet‘, whose lyrical content is described as a 21st century cocktail of MTV, sex, prescription drugs, video games, the internet, terminal boredom, and subsequent escape. On the Megadeth website Dave Mustaine has revealed more songtitles for the upcoming Megadeth album, tentatively due for release in March. “Whilst being burried under the workload of this last session with Andy Sneap [producer/mixer] on the new album, I can’t help but enjoy the countryside out here in Derbyshire, England. I am working on finishing by Thursday (fingers crossed), and will return to the States to start unwinding in order to just wind back up again for the U.S. run which is going to be super selective cities, venues, and with the perfect support groups. “So, here are the new song titles that I know you know: * Gears Of War * Washington Is Next * United Abominations And here are some other titles: * Amerikhastan * Blessed Are The Dead * Never Walk Alone “and . . . “We finally covered a LED ZEPPELIN song í¢ä‰åäóì ‘Out on the Tiles’. “There you have it. Half of the titles (I may change the rest) are here for you to speculate what I have in store to surprise you with. There are 11 songs for the U.S., an additional song for Japan, and two extra songs for later use as ‘b-sides.’ “Lastly, Glen [Drover, guitar] said that there were ‘at least ten million solos on this record’ which makes us both very happy! So much so, that the nail on my right-hand middle finger just split right down the middle, and I nearly glued my fingers together trying to stop the blood from gushing from my ‘flipper.’ “I am off to sing the last song that I wrote for this record called ‘Never Walk Alone’ which is a promise to you. The general tone has been very positive and just being plain excitement to getting this record completed so all of you can hear it. I have heard some of the work they have done (vocal performances and guitar solos) and all I will say about what I heard is that it put a big smile on my face. “Andy Sneap [producer/mixer] is doing a GREAT job with us, and I couldn’t be happier that we obtained his services for this record. All of us have the common vision of making the best record we can, and I believe that the results will certainly speak for themselves upon its release. Corey Taylor frontman with Stone Sour has revealed information in a recent interview with Launch, about Stone Sour‘s next video for ‘Sillyworld‘, í¢ä‰åñWe wanna do something conceptual, we wanna do something that’s fairly animated. I mean, something that’s gonna be as stirring as the music and the content of the lyrics.” Josh Rand, Stone Sour guitarist revealed the video will be shot next week, ‘30.30-150‘ another track from the gold certified ‘Come What(ever) May‘ has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.
