Dave Pybus, Cradle Of Filth bassist, has posted the following tour update regarding their 19th February date at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, California.
“The venue is buried inside the hive of scum and villainly otherwise referred to as Disneyland. Went for a short walk about after lunch and got pics with some rather insistant fans outside. Met Nick from 3 INCHES OF BLOOD and got a very large and expensive beer in the ESPN bar as we waited for his other band members to get in. Got back to the venue a while later and did the daily chores of signing and soundcheck. Things seem easier these days and everyone is quite chilled. Time seems to go faster because of the attitude we have. No point in fighting everything. Just work hard and try enjoy it. For most people this life seems like a dream come true, right? This has to be one of the best tours I've ever done, on a personal level. I knew I would enjoy being back over here, for whatever reasons, and the time has simply flown by. Same with tonight's show. No major problems bar Sarah [female vocals] being ill and having to struggle through the set. By the time we realize what's going on, its the encore and the show is almost over. The crowd were great and Dani dedicated a song to Cat, whose birthday it is today. After the show we had to pack down and get out by 1:30 a.m. so not much partying tonight. Tomorrow we will drive most of the way across desert towards El Paso. See you all in San Antonio.”
Don’t forget you can still buy Cradle Of Filth’s new album ‘Thornography’ which was released in October, here.

Since their rip roaring tour of the UK, you’ve been clambering for more of those Madina Lake guys, whose album ‘From Them, Through Us, To You’ is set for release soon. The VH1 Rock Show will be playing a recent interview with the guys this Friday 23rd February!
Blabbermouth reports that Robert Flynn, Machine Head frontman is set to finish his vocals for an as-yet-untitled new song, which is to be used as a bonus track/b-side in correlation with the band’s forthcoming sixth studio album ‘The Blackening’
‘Aesthetics of Hate’ is a new song available for download from this location. The track which is taken from ‘The Blackening’ was inspired by an article written by William Grim, labelled “Aesthetics of Hate: R.I.P. Dimebag Abbott, & Good Riddance”, Robert Flynn said of the article:
“It basically said that Dime was untalented and that he reaped what he sowed,” Flynn told MTV.com about the article. (Grim called Abbott “an ignorant, barbaric, untalented possessor of a guitar” who looks “more simian than human” and “part of a generation that has confused sputum with art and involuntary reflex actions with emotion”). “It's one thing to have an opinion about an artist, but the thing that was the most offensive to me was how it then went on to cast this huge generalization over the metal community, calling us pathetic for mourning his death. He called us all ugly and fat. I wanted to punch the fucking computer screen when I read that article.”
Robert Flynn will be appearing on Bruce Dickinson’s BBC Radio 6 show, ‘Rock Show’ on 24th Feburary, you can listen online to the program live between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (midnight) U.K. at BBC.co.uk.
“The Blackening” final track listing:
01. Clenching the Fists of Dissent
02. Beautiful Mourning
03. Aesthetics of Hate
04. Now I Lay Thee Down
05. Slanderous
06. Halo
07. Wolves
08. A Farewell to Arms
Blabbermouth reports that Shawn Drover, Megadeth drummer posted the following message on the band’s official web site:
“So most of you are aware by now that MEGADETH have a new 'live DVD' that is vastly approaching its release date, ('That One Night: Live In Buenos Aires'; March 6th) showcasing not only the band having both a good show and a good time, but as well capturing certainly one of the best audiences I have ever seen – that would be Buenos Aires, Argentina. With this release, the rest of you can also witness the beautiful passion that is the South America heavy metal fan. I am very proud of how all of this was captured on film — watching it now bring back good memories of a very eventful South American tour. My one suggestion to those who do buy this DVD — play it very, very LOUD!!!!!!!! Apart from that, lots of great things in store for MEGADETH for 2007 and beyond. Stay tuned.”

Orange County stars Bleeding Through have filmed the video for “Line in the Sand” in Los Angeles, the video is being directed by Dan Dobi and MTV Video Music Award-winning executive producer Shane Drake, Blabbermouth reports.
Singer Brandan Schieppati explains, “The song is about a relationship I was in with someone who made me feel ugly and empty,”
“We love the other videos from this album, but we hadn't made a cut-loose-and-destroy performance video in a while, not since 'Love Lost…' from the last album, so we went for it.”
