‘…to the Church of The Ten Ton Hammer, The Blackening is undoubtedly its New Testament.’

‘…this is War Pigs for the 21st Century.’

‘…most violent anti war song in existence, Clenching The Fists of Dissent…’

‘The song structure on display is literally breathtaking…’

Posted on February 12, 2008

Shane from the simply awesome 3 Inches Of Blood has just posted a quick update from on the road/warpath somewhere just outside London.

“Crazy crazy show in London at the Underworld last night! Thanks to all
for comming out, we all agree it was the best London show we've had, and the 3IOB drinking team fought long and hard into the next morning with some great friends. Biomechanical has been laying it down every night, and the fans at every show have been supportive. We're excited as all hell for Fire Up The Blades to be released, and we're throwing lots of new tunes in the set. The reception fucking rules with the new stuff, thanks again for the support people! Alright enough about that, favorite part of the tour you ask? Ireland, St. Paddy's Day ( morning ) Guinness and Jameson's. I don't think that needs explanation. Thats it for now, Enjoy and get it on!

Shane”

Time to start thinking about polishing that helmet and sharpening the ol' broadsword, as the new 3 Inches Of Blood album, Fire Up The Blades, produced by none other than SlipKnot's own Joey Jordison(!!!),is due for invasion on June 26.
