SATYRICON release their new album THE AGE OF NERO on the 3RD NOVEMBER and we here at Roadrunner were wondering if any of you Satyricon fans would like to pose a quistion to Satyr about the upcoming album and / or about the band gnerally.

NICKELBACK hit the road today (12/09) on their tour of the UK and Ireland with a show in Belfast at the Odessey. The rest of the tour will continue as follows, with label mates STAIND in support:

In celebration of the tour, the band have released a Special Edition of their current album ALL THE RIGHT REASONS (which features Rockstar, Photograph and Far Away) which comes re-packaged with their Ultimate DVD Collection (basically every video they have ever made) and 3 bonus live tracks- Photograph, Animals and Follow You Home.

Nickelback will also release an as yet untitled follow-up to ALL THE RIGHT REASONS on the 17th November. Watch this space for more news on THAT exciting lil nugget of info…

In a recent intervewi with Revolver in the US, METALLICA main Man James Hetfield chatted about his love for the mighty MACHINE HEAD.

Talking about bands he is currently listening to, James comments:
But this band MACHINE HEAD, the two of the guys who were in VIO-LENCE [frontman Robb Flynn and lead guitarist Phil Demmel], we just did some dates with them over in Europe. And man, I couldn’t get enough. It was unbelievable…They’re so heavy, and super-friendly. They get it, and they love it. The last album, “The Blackening”, unbelievable. Unbelievable sound, power. It sounds like a band on fire. They have really turned it on again for me.”
