Did you know? Caliban dropped by the old RR UK office just before our move to say hi, as they were in the country for a couple of days enroute from Germany to the USA. While they were at the Roadrunner office in Germany, we hear staff had them answer a few questions about themselves, so one translation later… here is the piece on bassist Boris. Name: Boris Pracht Age: 26 Instrument: Bass All time favourite record? Slayer – Reign in Blood Greatest experience on tour? To see how Denis, our second guitar player, fall totally drunken out of bed, hahaha! Most horrible experience on tour? Knock on wood, there is no horrible story to tell so far… Most embarrassing moment that ever happened to you on stage? Nothing embarrassing has happened to me yet… Until now, haha… Do you have any sort of ritual before going on stage? Besides warming up just the usual, like putting new strings on, tune the guitar etc. With which band would you love to tour with? Hatebreed If I couldn’t be a musician, I would work as… Office-slave in an advertising agency Best advice you ever heard? Never say never! With which famous person (alive or dead) would you love to spend some time and why? LEAH REMINI AKA CARRIE HEFFERNAN (King of Queens) because this woman makes the sun rise!!) What’s one thing you would like to achieve in life? To get a date with Leah! ) Last Words: Thanks to all the people that support/supported us endlessly! Without you we are nothing! THANKS!

How many of y’all out there read the Orlando Weekly? Not many we’ll bet. Well, in their “Best of Orlando 2004 Edition,” this publication features “Best of 2004” ranging from Sports & Recreation, Local Color (we are in the US here), Goods & Services, Food & Drink and Arts & Entertainment around Florida. That being said, someone today stumbled upon the following piece on new RR act Trivium, rated BEST METAL ACT in this “Best Of 2004” piece. What was written about Trivium? Read below: “They released a great record – Ember to Inferno – late last year on a German label, and then, within the space of a few months, found themselves booked on tours with the likes of Iced Earth and Chimaira and ended up signed to Roadrunner Records. Like, that’s a big deal. And, unlike some of Orlando’s other nationally known “heavy” bands, the gut-punching power metal that Trivium delivers is something to be proud of, as their combination of metal’s heavy history and abundant technical proficiency results in something truly forward-looking and strong. Goes to show what happens when a band sets out to be “good” rather than “famous.””

A recent report from the Rock N Roll Experience web site, reads that EVERY TIME I DIE singer Keith Buckley was arrested following the band’s Ozzfest 2004 performance at the Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, VA on Sunday (July 18). “Apparently, [Keith] had WAY too much to drink at the Jager tent and at one point was wearing a set of fake boobs with a tank top and the local police arrested him for drunk and disorderly conduct, but released him in about 30 minutes. This little event will NOT effect any of the bands shows, they are still scheduled for their ‘off-fest’ dates and all Ozzfest!” Apparently, guitarist Andy Williams has camera phone footage… Keith says… “This is to clarify the rumors circulating on the worldwide web concerning my alleged arrest at the Ozzfest date in Virginia,” Keith writes on the group’s web site. “While everything on the Internet is usually valid and intelligent muckraking, I was NOT wearing fake boobs, but rather a ‘do-rag’ given to me by the generous people of Jagermeister. I was NOT arrested, NOT fingerprinted, NOT read my rights, NOT detained for longer than a half hour and NOT sober. I was fined for disorderly conduct but released on my own recognizance. This marks the first time in history that a member of a band has been in trouble with the law as a result of alcohol. The lesson learned? Don’t wear do-rags.”
So, the office move upon us, we leave you with one new thing, until Monday. Brand new Cradle Of Filth artwork for ‘Nymphetamine’. Feast your eyes on it HERE.
