Next week, Cali will be treated to two Murderdolls shows: 1/15 – L.A. – The Key Club 1/17 – Corona, CA – The Showcase Theatre After that, Murderdolls frontman Wednesday 13 (formerly of North Carolina horror-metal outfit FRANKENSTEIN DRAG QUEENS FROM PLANET 13) will be hitting the road on his own while the Murderdolls are on hiatus during Joey’s return to Slipknot. Speaking of hitting the road on his own, Wednesday 13 has the following to say: “A lot of questions have been coming in, asking what I will be doing at these shows. I will not be modeling clothing, I will not be doing stand up comedy, unless you consider the music I’ve made in the past comedy, and no other members of the MURDERDOLLS will be performing with me. I will however be playing songs from the entire FRANKENSTEIN DRAG QUEENS history, as well as a few surprises. I have the Florida-based graverockers DEATH BECOMES YOU as my backing band. These guys are a bunch of gruesome ghouls and these shows are sure to be a visual hand-grenade of horror. The reason for this tour is to promote the new merchandise line, The Thirteen Dead Kids, as well as to fulfill my boredom from sitting on my ass while the MURDERDOLLS are on this break. I will have merch available at the shows, as well as an exclusive The Thirteen Dead Kids shirt, only available at these shows.
