The show will air during prime time on MTV US later this year. Nickelback has also confirmed to appear on VH1’s upcoming “VH-1 Concert Series.” Taping will take place on August 26th at the EMP Sky Church Theater in Seattle, Washington and will air in the US on September 23rd in conjunction with the release of their highly-anticipated album The Long Road, which hits stores that same day in the US, one day earlier in Europe. Nickelback’s new album The Long Road is already on track to becoming another massive hit for the band. In the US, their new single “Someday” was the #1 greatest gainer at all rock formats (Modern, Active, Mainstream and Heritage) this week, with airplay at nearly 200 stations across America.
