Just had word very recently from our Australia guys… with some great Nickelback news! Below, a few clips from the email… ‘Someday’ moved UP one place in National Singles Chart from #6 to #5. Sales of the single were incredible last week. ‘The Long Road’ went down one place from #14 to #15 BUT……we scanned 34% more over-the-counter and are expecting close to a 100% increase on ship figures this week. In regards to our latest single, ‘Figured You Out’, radio is LOVING IT!! This track has been serviced to radio just this week and already it is appearing on major playlists accross the country, starting with NOVA buzz bins (who picked up the single even before it was officially serviced) and continuing to spread like wildfire with the official adds, first week out. A few comments from radio: “‘Figured You Out’ is turning out to be another monster for us, Nickelback is again Hot with us right now.” “Nickelback is going off, we have it on high rotation & will report this week”. “We’ve just ATB’d on ‘Figured You Out’! Sounds awesome on air.” Both single and album are rapidly heading towards PLATINUM status over there!
