A year ago at this time, Nickelback was nominated under the category of Best New Group at the 2001 Canadian Juno Awards. One year later for the 2002 annual Canadian Juno Awards, Canada’s equivalent to the Grammy’s, Nickelback is in contention under four categories – Best Album, Best Group, Best Single, and Best Rock Album. What a difference a year can make… The music contingency of Canada will be crawling out of the woodwork for this year’s Juno Awards Show, as NICKELBACK, Sum 41, Alanis Morissette, Nelly Furtado, Diana Krall, Amanda Marshall, and Great Big Sea have been announced as performers for the upcoming ceremony, with a few more performers expected to be announced in the days ahead.
